THINGS WE COULD BE
If I'm a star, you are the sky i turn up in.
I light up your world, so it's better to live in.
We stay together the whole night,
until the sun comes out and hides us with light.
If i was a moon, you'd be my planet.
I'd spin around, pulled to you like a magnet.
We'd be together right from the start,
side by side, heart by heart.
If we were wolves, we'd run around,
hunt for game to geed the hounds.
We'd rule over the forest, and the beasts within,
make our own law, with a mouth full of grin.
In the end we stick together,
watch each others backs forever and ever.
With over time, this could turn to something great,
but having you around, i don't even have to wait.
